Beginning to think about therapy is already a meaningful step toward healing and growth — and that deserves to be acknowledged and celebrated. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to begin.
Confirm appointment
Once you've been matched with a Counselor, and have found a day/time that works for both of you, you'll reserve your spot by paying the $30 Reservation Fee.
Portal
Our Office Coordinator will gather basic information to set up your Client Portal. You will receive an email invitation to activate your portal.
intake forms
Complete your intake forms through the portal, prior to your first session. You will receive a welcome message with details about location, date, time, and your Counselor.

Counseling Services
Our counseling center serves as not only a place for clients to heal, but as a sought-after training center for Christian psychological field experience. We have trained incredible counselors who have grown to open their own practices across multiple states. All of our clinicians gain skills in various trauma-informed modalities and learn nuances of Dr. Brooks' Soul Change Model © as they matriculate through our practice. All of our Clinicians are supervised by either Dr. Ashley Brooks or by Dr. Sally Smith.
STUDENT INTERNS - are in the process of training under one of our LPCs and are working towards their Masters degree.
PLPC - Provisional Licensed Professional Counselors have completed their Masters degree and Internship; they are fully trained and working to complete their 1,900 hours of direct client contact.
LPC - Licensed Professional Counselors are fully trained and have completed all direct client contact hours.
LPC-S - Credentialed in Supervision
PhD - Doctor of Counseling
Fees & Insurance Usage
To reserve your first appointment, we charge a $30 Reservation Fee at the time of booking, over the phone. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable, but will be applied toward the cost of your first session or insurance co-pay.
Insurance
Each Clinician accepts their own list of specific insurances.
Please refer to their staff page to view which insurances are accepted by that Clinician. PLPC Counselors will submit claims under Dr. Ashley Brooks' NPI number, as she is their direct supervisor.
We only accept insurance for Individual Counseling sessions. We do not accept insurance for Couples Counseling or Family sessions. We do not accept Medicaid.
To expedite the insurance process, we recommend checking with your insurance company to learn whether you have met your deductible and what your copay for appointments will be. Clients are responsible for any invoice balance not covered by insurance.
